Yes Print Gives TCS Supplied Bagel The Nod

Press Briefing

April 2016

Yes-Print Ltd, Camberley, has chosen a Bagel Minilam B3 Auto from Terry Cooper Services as part of a £180,000 spend to create a one-stop-shop of value added services. Explains owner Colin Hoskins: “Over the past 18 months we have installed a Ricoh ProC 7100 and a Canon Image PRESS VDP. We have also invested in our finishing department. All of this was to modernise what we offer and the range of services we offer.” This is an approach that is working as the 12-employee strong business has increased turnover by 50% year on year to £750,000. “We have established a reputation for tab dividers and are building up clients around the world including Europe and North America,” says Hoskins. “However, jobs are getting more and more complicated. There are now two or three more additional elements in a single run and we wanted to be able to handle all of these in-house.” That is one of the reasons a new laminator was required: “Particularly with the tab divider business we were being asked for lamination. We had a system but it was increasingly unreliable. We went to the Print Show and looked at a couple of options but liked the Bagel because it was easy to use, quick to set up, delivered the quality we wanted and all at an affordable price.” He added reliability and consistency were also important factors: “During the demonstration it just kept plodding away sheet after sheet. There were no problems at all and that is what sold it to us. We wanted a system that did the job and did it well.”

The ultra-compact 1,200sph fully automatic Bagel Minilam B3 Auto can change formats up to three time in less than 10 minutes. Featuring a colour touch screen and user-friendly operation, it also has an oil heated calander roller and intelligent temperature programming.

Hoskins concluded: “We now have a well-equipped operation that delivers everything our customers could ask for. We have enjoyed a good period of growth and see no reason why this should not continue.”
